DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Three things I believeabout interfaces.

The inevitable interfaceThe best design feels like it couldn't have been any other way. Not just beautiful — structurally correct. Every element in its only possible position. That quality is never accidental and always earned.
Design and code are one disciplineMost design breaks in the browser. I work in both until they match. The gap between Figma and production is where craft lives — in timing, in physics, in the details that static mockups cannot show.
Restraint is proof of thinkingAdding is easy. Removing requires a position. Every element on screen is a decision to include — and a decision not to include everything else. If it doesn't serve the user, it serves no one.
TOOLS & STACK

Deliberate choices,not defaults.

FRAMEWORKNext.js
ISR, Edge Runtime, App Router. The DX gap over other frameworks is large enough to matter on a deadline. Server Components changed how I think about what belongs in the browser.
STYLINGTailwind v4
CSS variables as design tokens. No class soup if the system is right. v4's performance characteristics and native CSS variable support change what's possible at scale.
ANIMATIONGSAP + Framer Motion
GSAP for precision — spring physics, complex timelines, ScrollTrigger. Framer Motion for declarative component animations where speed matters more than control. Both have a place; knowing which to reach for is the skill.
LANGUAGETypeScript
Strict mode, no any. The type system is the documentation. It catches misunderstandings before they become bugs, and makes working alone on a codebase feel like working with a collaborator.
DESIGNFigma
Start here. Finish in the browser. Figma defines intent — motion, timing, and interaction are decided in code. The real design is what ships.
BACKENDSupabase
Postgres, auth, realtime, storage — without the ops overhead. Lets me ship complete full-stack products without needing a backend engineer. The gap between idea and production is smaller.
TESTINGPlaywright + Vitest
End-to-end tests with Playwright for critical flows, unit tests with Vitest for utilities. Wired into GitHub Actions CI. Tests that catch real regressions, not tests that inflate coverage numbers.
WEB3Wagmi + Viem
The right abstraction level for onchain UX — low enough to handle non-custodial flows and high-stakes wallet interactions, high enough to ship fast. EVM-compatible, chain-agnostic.

WHERE I'VE BEEN

Self-taught.Shipped to the world.

ZYLO SOLUTIONS · LAHORE

Web Development Team Lead

APR 2025 → PRESENT

Leading a frontend team — architecture decisions, code review, shipping on deadline. Building production Next.js products for international clients.

V21 STUDIO · UK

Design Engineer

SEP 2025 → FEB 2026

The title matched the work. Figma-to-code with precision — every component built to spec, motion designed in the browser, not bolted on after.

TIER75 · UNITED STATES

Frontend Web Developer

AUG 2023 → JAN 2025

18 months embedded in a US product team. Built and iterated on production SaaS interfaces — the kind of engagement where you learn what holds up over time.

X9 · DUBAI, UAE

Frontend Web Developer

MAY 2023 → AUG 2023

Fintech trading UI where data density and clarity are the product. Short engagement, high output — shipped under real market pressure.

ORFINEX · UAE

Frontend Web Developer

MAR 2022 → JUL 2023

Where the fintech domain clicked. Built trading platforms and dashboards end-to-end — the work that proved complex interfaces are learnable craft.

UPWORK · REMOTE

Freelance Frontend Developer

JAN 2021 → FEB 2022

Where it started. International clients, full project ownership, real deadlines. Learned to ship without a net.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

The right problem.The right team.

THE ROLE

Design Engineer or Senior Frontend at a product company. The kind where the interface is the product, not an afterthought.

THE WORK

Complex UI problems with real design ownership — motion, systems, the gap between Figma and what ships.

THE SETUP

Fully remote, worldwide. Open to product companies, design studios, and agencies where craft is taken seriously.

"Nuzair consistently translated complex Figma designs into production-ready interfaces — Web3 dashboards, SaaS products, marketing pages — with full ownership of components, animations, and cross-device polish. I would be happy to work with him again and confidently recommend him for frontend and design engineering positions."

- VICTOR DEACONU // FOUNDER @ V21 STUDIO

"Nuzair delivered high-quality frontend work on our trading platform at X9. He understood the complexity of fintech UI and shipped interfaces that held up under real market conditions."

- NOMAN CHAUDHARY // HEAD OF PRODUCT @ X9
